Abstract

In this paper is exposed the intervention criterion chosen in the conservation of a choir book from the XV century.  The nature and evolution of such books as well as the material and structure thereof is studied.  It also explains and justifies why its restoration was faced choosing the Japanese aesthetics named Wabi Sabi as a guarantee to maintain at maximum the codicological values of the book.
